Carla has spent the past decade bringing Memphis together around cancer care. At Common Table Health Alliance, she was instrumental in building the Memphis Breast Cancer Consortium into a coalition of more than 30 local organizations working to close the gap in breast cancer deaths between Black and White women. She started her career as a nurse at Baptist Memorial Hospital.
